1. Heard.
2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.111/2021 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Raipur (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 20-B of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
3. The applicant and co-accused Monu Devi Kori were found in illicit possession of 9 Kg and 4 Kg of Ganja respectively during search on 3.3.2021.

4. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that coaccused Monu Devi Kori has already been released on regular bail by this Court vide order dated 2.6.2021 passed in MCRC No.2812/2021.
5. Learned counsel for the State would oppose the bail application. However, he would submit that the concerned SHO has not reported any criminal antecedents of the applicant of committing similar nature of crime.

Considering the facts situation of the case, particularly considering the fact that co-accused Monu Devi Kori has already been released on bail as also for the fact that the applicant is in jail since 3.3.2021 i.e. for more than 5 months and has no previous criminal antecedents, I am of the opinion that present is a fit case to release the applicant on regular bail.

Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
