The claim of the petitioner in this petition is for a direction to the respondents to take a decision so far as grant of second time pay scale which the petitioner is entitled for on completion of 20 years of service.

According to the petitioner, he was initially appointed on 15.12.1997 and as such he has completed 20 years of service in the year 2017 and therefore he is now entitled for the second time pay scale. 3.

Given the limited dispute that the petitioner has raised, let the petitioner make a fresh representation, in addition to what has already been made, to the respondents No.2&3 within a period of 15 days from today and on such representation being made, the respondents No.2&3 shall take a decision in accordance with rules governing the

service conditions of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order 4.
