1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that the departmental appeal which the petitioner has preferred to respondent no.1 against the order of punishment dated 17.01.2019 is still pending consideration and an appropriate direction may be given for an early decision of the appeal filed by the petitioner.
2. State counsel to the limited request that the petitioner has made does not oppose.
3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of
-2with a direction to respondent no.1 to decide the pending appeal which the petitioner has made challenging the order dated 17.01.2019 i.e. the order of punishment of stoppage of one annual increment without cumulative effect. Let respondent no.1 decide the appeal at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to bring to the notice of respondent no.1 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
