1. The limited grievance of the petitioner raised through this petition is that even though the term of office of previous Managing Committee has come to an end in the month of April, 2012, the elections have not been held as per the mandate of the provision contained in the Chhattisgarh Cooperatives Societies Act, 1960 and the interim arrangement of administering affairs through Cooperative Inspector is being continued which is not in the larger interest of cooperative movement.

2. Learned State counsel submits that for the purpsoe of election, it is State Cooperative Election Commission which is competent and the petitioner may approach to concerned authority.

3. Considering the submission made, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.4/Cooperative Inspector, Bilaspur and Administrator of Shikshit

Swarojgar Udyog Sahkari Samiti Maryadit, Bilaspur to take necessary steps and forward forthwith the proposal for elections to State Cooperative Election Commission. The necessary requisites along with relevant details shall be forwarded within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the State Cooperative Election Commission shall conduct the election in accordance with the provisions of Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. as, early as possible.
