Mr. V. K. Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the petitioner has not been granted promotion on the post of Homeopathy Medical Officer from the date the respondent No.3 was promoted i.e. 21.02.1995.

Mr. Soumya Rai, learned State counsel, would submit that the petitioner has been granted promotion on the post of Homeopathy Medical Officer vide order dated 19.09.2011 (AnnexureR-1/1). 3.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the respondent authorities for granting promotion on the post of Homeopathy Medical Officer from the date the respondent No.3 was promoted i.e. 21.02.1995. If such representation is made within 4 weeks from today, the respondent authorities shall consider and decide the same within next 6 weeks by a reasoned and speaking order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to cost (s).
