Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's wife is working as Assistant Teacher (LB) in the School Education Department and presently she is posted at district Gariyaband whereas, her husband is working as Revenue Inspector and he, himself is posted in the Office of Collectorate (Land Record Branch) Dhamdha, Distt.-Durg, therefore, he has made an application to the Secretary, Revenue Department on 04.07.2019 (Annexure P/3) relating to his posting. The only prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is that the same application may be decided, without
any observation on the merit.

Since the only claim of the petitioner is that his wife is presently posted at Gariyabandh and he may also be posted nearby and his application also appears to have been filed on 04.07.2019 (Annexure P/3). Considering the fact that application for consideration of transfer/ posting has been filed, without any observation on the merit, it is observed that the respondent No. 1 is directed to decide the application of the petitioner within a further period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation on the merit.
4. With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
