Proceeding Through Video Conferencing Hon'ble Shri Prashant Kumar Mishra, Ag CJ Order On Board /09/2021 :

1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.141/2020 registered in Police Station Mana Camp, District Raipur, for offence under Section 20 (b) of the NDPS Act.

2. While the applicant and two other accused persons were subjected to search, co-accused Vedvyas Mehar was found in illicit possession of 15.2 kg of Ganja and other co-accused Rajsagar was found in illicit possession of 17.180 kg of Ganja.

3. The illicit contraband was not recovered from the present applicant.

4. Admittedly, co-accused persons namely, Vedvyas Mehar & Rajsagar

MCRC No. 4583 of 2021 have been released on bail in MCRC No.300/2021.

5. Considering the release of above co-accused persons on bail, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.

6. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1 lakh with one local surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
