(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father died in harness on 04.02.1996 while was working in the department of respondent company. The petitioner has made an application for appointment on compassionate ground which is pending consideration before the respondent authorities and as the same has not been considered and decided till this date in accordance with law by the respondent authorities.

(3) Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner for dependent employment shall be considered and decided by the competent authority within a period of six weeks from today.

(4) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.
