1. The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.165/2020 registered in Police Station City Kotwali, District Raipur for ofence under Section 20 (b) of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

2. The applicant was found to be in illicit possession of 5 kg of contraband Ganja contained in a bag when he was apprehended by the police on 14.6.2020.

3. Considering that the applicant has previous antecedents of having committed ofence under the NDPS Act on earlier occasion also, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the application is rejected.
