1. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue of seniority has remained pending with the respondent without any decision. He submits that the records are presently lying in the office of respondent No.2 and the petitioner would be satisfied at this stage if the petition is disposed off with a

-2direction to consider petitioner's claim for seniority.

2. In view of the submission so made, without commenting upon merits of the case, this petition is disposed off with a direction that petitioner's claim for seniority may be considered by the respondents, decision may be taken in three months and if the petitioner is not satisfied, he would be at liberty to revive the petition.
