Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order On Board 2 1 / 11 /201 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be permitted to prefer representation before the State Government for promotion from the post of Assistant Superintendent Land Records to the post of Deputy Collector with effect from 1998 and the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.

(2) Prayer appars to be fair and reasonable and accordingly the same is allowed.

(3) Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the State Government for promotion within a period of 10 days from

today and in turn the State Government shall consider and decide the same expeditiously preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

(4) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.

(5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law on its own merit. Sd/- (Sanjay K. Agrawal) Judge D/-
