The prayer made by the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents for grant of pension and while granting pension, the earlier service of petitioner as a contingency paid employee be also considered.

Perusal of record would show that the Pension Payment Order (PPO) for releasing of pension and retiral dues has already been prepared and it is also under process.

Meanwhile, the State Government also issued instructions to various departments for considering the past service of the petitioner rendered as a Daily Wage Employee for quantifying the pensionable service. 4.
Accordingly, the present Writ Petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondents No. 2 & 3 to ensure that the pension payable to the petitioner is processed at the earliest and the same is released to the petitioner preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
