Agrawal Order On Board 21/11/2017 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed this writ petition for promotion on the post of Assistant Grade-II, but during the pendency of the petition he has already been promoted on the said post by the respondent authorities on 16.05.2008, but he is entitled for grant of seniority from the date when his juniors have been promoted on the said post for which he has made representation before respondent authorities, but the same has not been considered and decided till this date.
(2) I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. (3) Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh representation to the respondents No.1 & 2 for grant of seniority. If such representation is filed by the petitioner before the respondents No.1 & 2, in that event respondents No.1 & 2 shall consider and decide the same strictly in accordance with law after hearing the affected parties, expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of ceritified copy of this order.
(4) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
