1. By way of this writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction to respondents No.1 to 6 to register FIR against respondents No. 7 to 9 for cognizable offences committed by them.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit

that the petitioner was subjected to police torture pursuant to police case registered at Police Station Chirmiri, for which he is entitled for compensation.

3. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that criminal case has been registered against the petitioner and charge-sheet has been filed, which is pending consideration before the jurisdictional criminal Court.

4. Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to raise his grievance during the course of trial, which is pending before the jurisdictional criminal Court.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
