1. The limited grievance that the petitioner has in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not deciding the departmental appeal that the petitioner has preferred against the order of termination of service.

2. According to the Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner was wrongfully terminated vide order dated 03.06.2019 and immediately thereafter he had preferred an appeal to the respondent No. 2 on 25.06.2019. However, though more than two years have passed, the appeal has not been decided yet.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondent No. 2 or whoever the Appellate Authority is to take a decision on the appeal dated 25.06.2019 of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
