Grievance of the petitioner as ventilated through this petition is that even though, there exists a policy for grant of employment to the dependent of the deceasedemployee as provided under the National Coal Wage Agreement, at the time of death of petitioner's father, but the petitioner has not been granted the said benefit. It is submitted that after the petitioner became major, he was called to appear before the Screening Committee vide letter dated 18-11-2013 and the petitioner also appeared before the said committee on 22-11-2013, but thereafter, he has not been informed regarding result of process of consideration. 3.
Learned counsel for respondents-SECL submits that if the process of consideration has not been completed, the decision on petitioner's claim for
employment as dependent of the deceased-employee, shall be taken as early as possible.

In view of submission made above, it is directed that the respondent No.2Director (Personnel) SECL in consultation with the respondent No.3-Chief General Manager, Chirmiri Area and respondent No.4-Sub-Area Manager, Chirmiri Underground Area shall consider the case of the petitioner and take decision thereon as expeditiously as possible. The decision shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed by respondent No.2.
