1. The petitioner seems to be aggrieved of the gradation list that was published by the respondent department on 27.11.2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that juniors to the petitioner have been placed much higher than the position that petitioner has been granted in the final gradation list.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already raised his objections before the respondent authorities for rectification of the gradation list suitably. However, no decision has been taken.

3. At this juncture State counsel referred to Annexure P-2 which is a correspondence issued by the respondent no.2 to the petitioner calling upon his objections in respect of his grievance so far as seniority is concerned. According to the State counsel since the matter is pending consideration before the authorities to take a decision in accordance with law after due verification of the service records of the petitioner so far as deciding the claim of seniority is concerned.

4. Given the said submissions, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.1 to 4 to take appropriate steps in ensuring that the representation/objection of the petitioner, if any received in respect of the gradation list and seniority so provided to the petitioner, in accordance with the rules governing the field of seniority at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
