Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking for appropriate directions to Respondents to consider his claim for grant of seniority and also the difference of wages for the period between 6.12.1989 to 15.5.1999 during which the Petitioner had served under the Respondents in the capacity of a Part Time Teacher.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner vide I.A. No.1 has brought on record a document dated 11.2.2020 issued by Respondent No.1, the Secretary of the Department to Respondent No.2, the Director of the Department, to consider and take appropriate decision so far as the claim of Petitioner is concerned. However, learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that though more than one and half years have passed there does not seem to be any decision taken till date on the same.

Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No.2 to take appropriate decision in terms of the Order given by Respondent No.1 on 11.2.2020 and also considering the merits of the case so far as the entitlement of Petitioner for the relief sought for by him is concerned. Let a decision in this regard be taken within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. 5.
