The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the order Annexure-P/1 dated 06/06/2015 whereby the services of the petitioner was transferred from the office of the Additional Collector, Janjgir-Champa to the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.

The petitioner had got an interim order in his favour as early as on 10/07/2015 and since then the petitioner seems to be working at the same place.

Given the efflux of time during which the petitioner continued at the original place i.e. at Janjgir-Champa by virtue of an interim order this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the Writ Petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the respondents are ordered not to act upon the impugned order Annexure-P/1 any further so far as the petitioner is concerned.

However, the right of the respondent/State is reserved for passing a fresh order if need so arises on administrative exigency at an appropriate stage.
