The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.25/2020 registered at Police Station-Bhairamgarh, Civil and Revenue District- Bijapur, (C.G.) for alleged commission of offence under Section 420, 468 & 471 of Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case is that the applicant has signed fake signature of CEO, Zila Panchayat, Bijapur in the note sheet which resulted in payment of bill in favour of the supplier.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated, he has not committed any offence and without verifying the signature from the handwriting expert, the FIR has been registered and the applicant is going to be arrested.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State opposes prayer and submits that CEO, Zila Panchayat, Bijapur, himself has lodged report against the present applicant with specific allegation that the present applicant forged

his signature in the note sheet on the basis of which certain payments were ordered for a particular supplier in respect of supply of utensil in Anganwadi Centers.

Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for parties and particularly taking into consideration the material placed before this Court, present is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. 6.

Therefore, the application is rejected.
