2. This appeal arises out of an interim order passed by the Family Court, partly allowing the appellant's application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.

3. Since the appeal is pending for about 2 1⁄2 years, the Registry was directed to make enquiry from the concerned trial Court as to whether the suit is still pending or not.

4. It has been informed by the concerned trial Court that the suit has been disposed of, as not pressed on 6.8.2018.

5. Thus, the present appeal has rendered infructuous and it is accordingly dismissed as having rendered infructuous reserving liberty in favour of the appellant to revive the appeal, if the cause of action arises.
