1. The grievance of the petitioner in this petition is inaction on the part of the respondents in not granting benefit of two advance increments on petitioner's obtaining Post Graduation qualification.

2. According to the petitioner, he has obtained Post Graduation qualification in the year, 2014 and since then he has applied for grant of two advance increments, however, till date the same has not been extended to the petitioner. He further submits that other department has meanwhile granted the said benefit to many other similarly placed persons.

3. Given the limited facts that the petitioner has submitted, let the case of the petitioner be scrutinized by the respondent No.2 in the light of the government circular and decide the claim of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The authorities concerned would also keep in mind as to whether such benefits have been extended to any of the similarly placed

-2persons in other department or not, and also decide as to why the said circular would not be applicable so far as petitioner is concerned.
