2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's land has been acquired by the respondents authorities but neither the land acquisition proceeding has been initiated nor the compensation has been paid for which the petitioner has made representation to the Collector, Mungeli.

3. Be that as it may, the Collector, Mungeli, shall consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner for grant of compensation strictly in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing

the parties.
