This MCC has been filed by the applicant for restoration of Writ Petition No. 3300 of 2003 which was dismissed by the Court for want of prosecution on 04.04.2017.

On due consideration of the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicant and the reasons mentioned in the restoration petition, I am satisfied that the absence of the applicant's counsel on 04.04.2017, when the Writ Petition No. 3300 of 2003 was taken up for hearing, was based on bonafide grounds.

Accordingly, the M.C.C. No. 449 of 2018 is allowed and the Writ Petition No. 3300 of 2003 is restored to its original number for hearing and disposal in accordance with law.
