1. Petitioner is seeking direction to the respondents for regularization of his services in view of the fact that he claims to be appointed as daily wager in the year 1994.

2. Without commenting on the veracity or the genuineness of the petitioner's claim that he was appointed in the year 1994, the writ petition is disposed of with direction that in the event the petitioner prefers a representation before

the competent authority seeking benefit of the State Government's circular dated 05.03.2008 within a period of one month from today, the competent authority shall verify whether or not the petitioner is eligible to be considered for regularization in terms of the circular dated 05.03.2008 and thereafter the competent authority shall pass a reasoned order on its own merits, in accordance with law.

3. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
