The transfer order is under challenge on the ground that though the petitioner has not submitted any application for transfer, he is shown to be transferred on his own request and it is either because of factual mistake of the Government. The allegation made in the petition is serious. 2.

Respondent No.1/State, through a responsible officer, shall get inquiry made in the matter and appropriate decision be taken in the matter. It is expected that the inquiry shall be conducted within 30 days.

For a period of 30 days, petitioner shall not be disturbed from his present place of posting and no coercive steps shall be taken against him. 4.
