HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR W.P.(S) No. 909 of 2015 Makhan Lal Verma S/O Late Shri Lallu Ram Verma Aged About 58 years R/O Village Sahaspur, Tehsil, Post Office And Police Station Lohara, District Kawardha (Chhattisgarh) ---- Petitioner

Versus

1. State Of Chhattisgarh Through: Secretary Department Of Forest, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, Raipur, (Chhattisgarh)

2. Divisional Forest Officer, Forest Division Kawardha, District Kawardha (Chhattisgarh)

3. District Forest Officer, Kawardha Forest Zone, District Kawardha, (Chhattisgarh)

4. Shri Trilok Das Dhritlahare Working As Deputy Ranger Bhoram Deo Reserve Forest, District Kawardha ---- Respondents For Petitioner:

Shri Nimesh Kumar Jha, Advocate.

For State/Respondents No.1 to 3 Shri Mazid Ali, PL. Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 19/03/2015 By the instant writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 28.2.2015 (Annexure P-1) whereby the services of the petitioner who is working on the post of Dy. Ranger Sahaspur-Lohara Forest Range has been transferred to Jamunpani barrier, Kawardha. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the impugned order is an order of transfer and which is made in a short period of time as the petitioner was only recently promoted on the post of Dy. Ranger and has assumed charge on the present place of posting only on 25.2.2014. 3.

A perusal of the impugned order would show that it is not in fact an

order of transfer but is only an order of posting and is an inernal arrangement made by the District Forest Officer for his division, Kawardha and it cannot be brought within the ambit of a case of transfer. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition as the same is devoid of merits. 5.

Accordingly, the instant petition is dismissed. J U D G E Priya
