1. The petitioner through the present writ petition has challenged the impugned advertisement dated 08.01.2018.

2. On a query being put to the counsel for the petitioner, he fairly concedes that the petitioner is not one who had applied in the said recruitment process. This court is therefore, of the opinion that the petitioner as such does not have the locus for filing the present writ petition challenging the advertisement dated 08.01.2018. Moreover, this court finds that the advertisement under challenge is one which was issued about 1 and 1⁄2 years ago. On this ground also the present petition is not maintainable.

3. The limited prayer that the petitioner now makes is that the respondent No.2 should ensure that the directions given by the State Govt. vide correspondence dated 21.01.2019 would be adhered to as the recruitment has till date not attained finality.

4. Since this court is of the view that the petitioner does not have any locus to file the present writ petition, we would not like to entertain the present writ petition at this juncture, however, in case if the State Govt. has issued some orders to the respondent No.2, it is always expected of them to take any further decision in accordance with the directions given by the State Govt..
