1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been suspended by order dated 08.06.2020 for the reason that the petitioner's wife contested election of Zila Panchayat, Bemetara. He further submits that he has preferred an appeal under Rule 23 of the C.G. Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966 (Anneuxre P-5) and the

said appeal is pending, therefore, he prays that the respondents may be directed to decided the same within a reasonable period of time.

3. Considering the nature of allegation and perusal of Annexure P-5 which is supported by postal receipt would show that the appeal has been preferred against the suspension. Considering the fact that small issue is involved, the Respondent No. 2 is directed to decide the appeal of the petitioner within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
