1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not granting the benefit of 2nd as also 3rd higher time scale pay which the petitioner was entitled for on completion of 10 and 30 years of service.
2. According to the petitioner, he was appointed as Village Agriculture Extension Officer way back in March, 1985 and the petitioner has obtained 1st time scale pay in the year 1995 itself on completion of 10 years of service, however, thereafter the petitioner though till now has completed more than 35 years of service has not been granted the benefit of 2 nd and 3rd time scale pay. There is also no legal impediment for the respondents in denying the same to the petitioner. It is also the contention of the petitioner that he has been approaching the respondents by way of various representations which the authorities should consider.
3. Given the said limited grievance that the petitioner has, let appropriate steps be taken by the respondents on the claim of the petitioner for grant
-2of 2nd and 3rd time scale pay at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
