This is an application seeking enlargement of time for compliance of the directions contained in the judgment of this Court. The writ petition filed by the respondent was allowed on 17.06.2016 directing that the Establishment - Coal India Limited ought to consider the claim of the writ petitioner for compassionate appointment and pass necessary orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of that judgment. That was affirmed by Division Bench of this Court
on 06.12.2016 and time was extended up to 31.03.2017 for complying the direction. The Special Leave Petition carried by Coal India Limited and others was dismissed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 21.04.2017. It is thereafter that this application (MCC) was filed seeking enlargement of time. When this matter came up for hearing on 22.06.2017, it was adjourned to 23.08.2017 ordering that the applicants for extension shall report compliance of the direction and admission of respondent Miss. Hamshikha Mallick to service on compassionate ground in obedience to that judgment, or otherwise to face further consequences including order as to costs. It is now shown that the appointment order was issued on 14.07.2017 and the respondent has joined service after seeking change of place of posting. Recording these facts, the MCC is allowed extending time and recording that the directions in the judgments have been complied with.
