This contempt petition alleging willful disobedience of Order dated 31.07.2015 wherein this Court directed the Police Authority to consider the complaint/report of the petitioner and act in accordance with the Judgment of Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttar Pradesh and others 2008 (7) SCC 164. 2.

It appears that thereafter, the petitioner has submitted an application before Station House Officer only on 06.08.2015 alongwith a copy of the Order. As such, at this stage I am not inclined to issue any notice to respondent. 3.

However, it is observed that the respondents are expected to act expeditiously. If no

steps are taken within a period of one month, the petitioner would be at liberty to revive the contempt petition.

The petition is therefore, dismissed.
