Petitioner's grievance is that in the matter of investigation into report lodged by the petitioner, till date, investigation has not been completed nor final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate. 2.

Irrespective of the result of investigation, it has to be observed that the investigation has to be completed as expeditiously as possible and it cannot be kept pending indefinitely. Pursuant to direction given under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C., FIR was registered. Investigation has to come to an end one way or the other. The Investigating Authority/ respondent No.4 are directed to conclude the investigation and submit its report before the Magistrate as early as possible. The Magistrate shall also take appropriate steps and direct the Investigating Authority to conclude the investigation and submit report before it. 3.
