1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider the application/s that petitioners have made for settlement of the property over which the petitioners are in possession since ages and for which the petitioners have moved an application under Chhattisgarh Vas-Sthan DakhalKar (Bhumiswami Adhikaron Ka Pradan Kiya Jana) Adhiniyam, 1980.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents have already issued an order for taking decision on the application so made by the petitioner as early as on 29.08.2018, however, till date authorities have not decided the same and matter is still pending. The petitioners therefore have prayed for limited direction to the respondents to take an early decision on the same.

3. The limited relief is not opposed by Learned Dy. AG appearing for respondents No.1, 2 & 3.

4. Accordingly, respondent No.3 shall take a decision on the said application for settlement made by the petitioners at the earliest preferably within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Rohit
