By this petition the grievance ventilated by the petitioner is that despite application for Mutation application moved by the petitioner before the respondent no. 2, no steps have been taken nor proceedings drawn on petitioner's application. 2.

Once an application for mutation is moved by the petitioner, respondent no. 2 is required to draw appropriate proceedings and pass order one way or the other. 3.

Accordingly, the respondent no. 2 is directed to take cognizance of petitioner's application and draw appropriate proceeding under the Land Revenue Code and pass order on petitioner's application. The competent Authority shall take decision within an outer limit of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
