1. Heard.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner stands retired from services on 31-1-2020 from the post of Additional Collector. Thereafter, the petitioner has not been paid retiremental benefits. It is contended to release the retiremental benefits. Letter dated 16-3-2020 (Annexure P/3) was sent to the Secretary, whereby it was certified that no

demand exists, no enquiry exists and no adverse incident exists and it was certified in favour of the petitioner. However, the same is still pending to be decided at the end of respondent authorities and the petitioner has not been paid a single penny.

3. On the other hand, learned State counsel would submit that the letter dated 16-3-2020 (Annexure P/3) is tobe verified from the Secretary and it is sent for counter signature.

4. Considering the pandemic situation and further considering the nature of letter dated 16-3-2020 ( Annexure P/3) which is pending wherein it is certified that neither any recovery nor any enquiry is pending against the petitioner and further considering the fact that since the petitioner stands retired on 31-1-2020, it is directed that respondent authorities shall finalize the pension of the petitioner and would pay the retiral benefits which are dues to him within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order inclusive of verification of facts.

5. With the aforesaid observation/direction, this petition stands disposed of.
