adfasf Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 28.01.2020
1. At the outset, the petitioner in the present writ petition seeks for an appropriate direction to the respondent no. 3 for taking a decision in respect of the application that the petitioner has filed for grant of compensation against the land belonging to the petitioner. The details of the property are reflected in the application as well as in the report submitted by the Revenue Inspector.
-22. According to the counsel for the petitioner, the Sub-Divisional Officer on taking cognizance of the application had directed the Revenue Inspector to submit his report and which the Revenue Inspector has also done, however thereafter the Respondent No. 3 has not passed any further orders.
3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would serve, if the Respondent No. 3 is directed to pass an appropriate order on the application for payment of compensation to the petitioner against the land which has been acquired by the respondents at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
