1. Perusal of the record would show that relief sought for is for quashment of the notice dated 14.05.2018 to the extent of conducting of election to be held on 18.05.2018.

2. counsel appearing for respondents now submit that elections have already been held on 18.05.2018.

3. Given the fact that elections have already been concluded and elected body has also assumed the duties and they have also started discharging his duties, this Court is of the opinion that the only

remedy now left with the petitioner would be to challenge the same by way of election petition.

4. Reserving the right of the petitioner for the same, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
