The Writ Appeal No. 656 of 2019 preferred before this Court by the Appellant was finalized as per verdict dated 27.09.2018 clearly holding that it was a 'frivolous appeal' for the reasons stated therein; however, granting four weeks' time from that date, to the Appellant-Company, to respond to the notice of the Nagar Panchayat, Bishrampur.

The present MCC is filed by the Appellant on 08.05.2019 seeking for extension of time by 'four weeks' from that date. The prayer is extracted below for convenience of reference:

"It is therefore, prayed that the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this application by extending time of 04 weeks as ordered on 27.09.2018 in W.A. No. 656 of 2018 for further 04 weeks from today, so that the applicant may reply the notice of respondent No.2 as directed earlier in para 6 of the order, in the interest of justice." 3.

Going by the prayer, it is seen that the time sought to be extended has already expired and as such no further relief can be granted, beyond the prayer raised. 4.

The MCC stands dismissed accordingly.
