1. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the suspension of the petitioner has been revoked vide order dated 24.08.2017 passed by the State Government in terms that the period of suspension shall be treated as period spent on duty. Therefore, in these circumstances, the petition is rendered infructuous.

2. Considering the aforesaid submission, the petition, at this stage, is disposed off as having rendered infructuous with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to prefer representation for issuance of consequential order of payment of salary for the period of suspension after adjusting the subsistence allowance in view of the decision of this Court in the case of Sirottam Prasad Patel Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and others, 2013 (3) CGLJ 244.
