Hon'ble Shri Justice Goutam Bhaduri Order 17-08-2020 Heard.

1. The grievance of the petitioner is that the husband of the petitioner namely Shri Manrakhanlal Churendra who was working as a Teacher under respondent No.3, died in harness on 24-12-2018. Thereafter, the petitioner who is widow made an application for compassionate appointment on 23-7-2019, however, the same has not been decided till date without any

sufficient reason, therefore, respondent No.3 may be directed to decide the said application for compassionate appointment within the stipulated period.

2. Perusal of the documents would show that the husband of the petitioner died on 24-12-2018 and subsequently, an application for compassionate appointment was filed on 23-72019.

3. Considering the fact that the application has already been filed for compassionate appointment which remained undecided, respondent No.3 is directed to consider and decide the said application within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall also be at liberty to make a fresh application before respondent No.3 within a period of two weeks.

4. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
