1. Grievance of the petitioner is that even though under the agreement, the petitioner carried out the work and the petitioner-group is entitled to payment of Rs.6,58,036/- without any dispute, the amount has remained arbitrarily withheld.
2. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that the petitioner's claim shall be considered and decided by respondent No.2.
3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the petition, at this stage, is disposed off
with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide petitioner's claim by speaking order within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. Whatever amount is found due and payable to the petitioner shall be paid forthwith. Reasons for non-payment of the amount claimed or part of the amount claimed shall be clearly spelt out in the order deciding petitioner's representation. Thereafter, if the grievance is not redressed/partly not redressed, the petitioner shall be at liberty to take recourse to such remedy as may be available to it under the law.
