The petitioner has filed this petition aggrieved by grant of compassionate appointment to respondent No. 4 alleging that respondent No. 4 has procured appointment on compassionate basis on forged documents whereas he is not legal representative of Shanti Bai Sahu, the mother of the petitioner herein. 2.
In the return filed by the State, upon inquiry, the appointment of respondent No. 4 was cancelled. It is also submitted that if petitioner applies for
compassionate appointment, her case will be considered and decided keeping in view the existing policy.

In view of the return and submission of the learned counsel for the State, this case is not required to be kept pending. It is disposed off with a direction that in case, petitioner prefers application for compassionate appointment before the competent authority, the same shall be considered and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law keeping in view the existing policy, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of the application. 4.
