The grievance of the Petitioner as ventilated through this petition is that the Petitioner is holder of inter-state road transport permit and has submitted an application before Respondent's State Authority to carry out necessary correction in the distance of road traveled in Chhattisgarh part, the application has not been considered till date. 2.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that inter-state agreement incorrectly records the distance as 300 kilometers, whereas, it should be 136 kilometers.

The nature of grievance raised by the Petitioner requires a factual inquiry by the Respondent's Authority. The correct picture can be made clear only by the Respondent's Authority. Therefore, in these circumstances, I am not inclined to keep the matter pending and dispose off with a direction to Respondent Authority to consider the Petitioner's claims by making appropriate inquiry and decide the same within a period of 45 days. 4.
