1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for payment of honorarium which should

-2be minimum of collector rate or the commissioner rate that is otherwise being provided to a Daily wage employee.

2. According to the petitioner, he is totally blind person, teacher of music classes at the Government School for Deaf and Blind at Tifra, Bilaspur since more than 5 years. The petitioner has been repeatedly representing before the authorities for enhancement of his remuneration. Annexure P-1 shows a correspondence made by the Director of the Department to the Superintendent of Institution at Tifra, Bilaspur. However, there seems to be no further development on the same.

3. Given the said facts, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.1 & 5 to take all necessary steps in deciding the representation of the petitioner at the earliest. Respondent authorities are expected to take a decision keeping in view the contents of the representation that petitioner has made.

4. Let a decision in this regard be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
