1. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing on admission, the learned State counsel drew the attention of the Court to an order dated 29.07.2020 passed by the Deputy Director-Mines, District: Raigarh, whereby it has been reflected that the vehicles belonging to the petitioner, which were allegedly seized by the respondents, have since been ordered to be released on Supurdnama.

2. This issuance of the order dated 29.07.2020 is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. The substantial relief sought for by

-2the counsel for the petitioner in the present writ petition was for a direction to the respondents to immediately release the detained vehicles, detained at the Punjipatra Police Station under District: Raigarh, (C.G.).

3. In view of the order dated 29.07.2020 passed by the Dy. Director - Mines, District: Raigarh, (C.G.) this Court is of the opinion that the substantial relief of the petitioner seems to have been redressed, the petition, therefore, has become infructuous.

4. However, the right of the petitioner stands reserved to challenge any subsequent development that takes place pursuant to the samples which is said to have been collected by the District Authorities; so far as gradings as also, so far as the weighment of the vehicle is concerned.

5. Reserving the right of the petitioner, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
