1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a complaint against respondent No.1 for offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 read with Section 420 of IPC before learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kharsiya, District Raigarh in the year 2018 which was registered as Case No. 141 of 2018 but the same has not yet been decided till today.
2. This court cannot lose sight of the fact that for the last two years India as well as the whole world are adversely affected by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic which has hampered not only judicial proceedings but also the normal life of citizens. Now, the
subordinate courts started functioning of physical hearing in pursuance of the Full Court's order dated 13-7-2021.
3. In view of such subsequent development, it is directed that learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Kharsiya shall make endeavor to conclude the trial within outer limit of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
