1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the Respondent No. 2 and 3 to consider and decide his application seeking for demarcation of his property, which situated in Khasra No. 477/19 measuring 0.06 decimal.

2. According to the counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's entire property stands acquired. However, the respondents are paying him compensation for only 0.03 decimal of land whereas he is

-2entitled for compensation for 0.06 decimal of land. The petitioner's counsel further submits that the petitioner has approached the Respondent No. 2 and 3 for demarcating his land/property so as to ascertain the total area taken over by the respondents in the course of construction of National Highway and also for better quantification of the compensation to the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Advocate General Shri V. R. Tiwari since he is on advance copy submits that the issue involved in the case seems to be the measurement of the land, which can be better decided by the Respondent No. 3 on their demarcating the property and measuring the same.

Given the said submission by the counsel on either side, the writ petition stands disposed off directing the respondent no. 2 and 3 to immediately process the application of the petitioner seeking for demarcation of his property by measuring the same and thereafter take appropriate steps ensuring that the petitioner is paid compensation to the extent of the property stands acquired.

5. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present Writ Petition stands disposed off.
