Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has made an application dated 05.04.2017 before the respondent No.2-Regional Transport Authority, Ambikapur for extension of the route of the regular stage carriage permit on the route Jashpur to Portenga and back one trip daily, which has not been considered and decided by respondent No. 2 till this date. 2.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 2-Regional Transport Authority, Ambikapur is directed to decide the petitioner's application and take appropriate steps expeditiously preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
