1. Heard.

2. This is an application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to the applicant, who is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.147/2020 registered at Police Station DD Nagar, Raipur District Raipur (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A, 506, 323, 34 of the IPC.

3. The applicant is the husband of the complainant with whom

MCRCA No. 1035 of 2020 he was married at the Arya Samaj Temple on 23.5.2019. After marriage, the complainant was pressurized to repay the loan of Rs. 25 lakhs which the applicant has taken prior to marriage. In the FIR as well as in the diary statement, there are allegations of demand of Rs.25 lakhs and commission of physical cruelty and criminal intimidation.

4. Considering the nature of allegations, I am not inclined to extend the benefit of Section 438 of Cr.P.C.

5. The bail application is dismissed. However, in the event, the applicant surrenders and applies for regular bail, the jurisdictional Court shall consider and decide his bail application expeditiously.
